Note: As of 16/August/2006, INTERACTER is offered on a strictly unsupported basis. It remains available solely for the benefit of existing INTERACTER users needing versions for alternative compilers/platforms.

Graphics Hardcopy and Export Formats

INTERACTER includes drivers for the following graphics hardcopy and export formats:

• HP-GL

  Most HP-GL pen plotters supported. Specific options for :

  • HP 7440A/7475A/7550A pen plotters
  • Facit 4550/4551 pen plotters
  • Epson HI 80 with HP ROM

• HP-GL/2

  Vector oriented output for modern LaserJets and top-end DeskJets:

  • HP LaserJet III/4/5
  • HP DeskJet 1200C/1600C and Colour LaserJet

• PostScript
  • Output suitable for monochrome & colour PostScript printers.
  • EPS option.

• Raster (HP PCL and Epson/IBM)
  • HP PCL (LaserJet, DeskJet and PaintJet). Monochrome & colour, maximum resolution 600 dpi.
  • Epson/IBM 9-pin and 24-pin dot matrix printers (MX/RX/FX/JX/LX/LQ etc., IBM Graphics Printer/Proprinter and compatibles). Monochrome & colour, maximum resolution (24-pin) 360x180 dpi.
  • Epson Stylus and other ESC/P2 printers. Monochrome & colour, maximum resolution 720 dpi.

• Bit Image files
  • PCX & BMP (2/16/256/16M colours) on all systems via virtual raster driver
  • PCX & BMP screen image files under DOS, Windows and Xlib

• Lotus PIC format
  • Creates files suitable for importing into numerous WP/DTP packages

• DXF format
  • Creates files suitable for importing into CAD packages.

• CGM format
  • Binary Computer Graphics Metafiles suitable for importing into graphics, WP and DTP packages.

• Windows (Drivers supplied with Windows version only)
  • Output via Windows Print Manager
  • Windows Metafiles (Standard, Aldus and Enhanced formats)

• Screen Dumps
  • Same range of printers supported as Raster driver, for screen dumps under DOS and X Windows.
  • MS Windows uses Print Manager for screen dumps
  • Hardware screen dump used on Tektronix and ReGIS terminals
